Central Coast Mariners VS Newcastle Jets, away hopes alive
MAIN PREDICTION: AWAY WIN
The Mariners bet soccer tips are dead last on the A-League ladder, seven points behind 10th placed Melbourne Victory and having lost their past eleven matches. It looks bleak for Alen Stajcic’s side who went down 1-0 to Perth Glory in their only game since the league’s resumption.

Newcastle having surged up to eighth under Carl Robinson who took over in February. The Jets have actually won four of their past five matches to move within three points of the top six. Newcastle have only won three of 12 away league games this term, but two of those were in their past three since Robinson arrived.
 
Central Coast may be at home, where they’ve claimed three of their four league wins this season, but they’re in horrible form while the Jets are flying. It has to be Newcastle.

The Mariners have conceded 13 goals in their past four home games, losing 4-2 to Melbourne City, 3-1 to Wellington, 3-0 to Sydney and 3-1 to Western Sydney. The point Alen Stajcic’s side have more intent at home but that opens them up to conceding goals. I’ll back a high-scoring match.
